NEURODIVERGENT ZONE

Here at JMJ we are immensely proud to be part of a neurodiverse team. The celebration of diversity in any shape of form is one of our core values.

Sustainable strategy approach to eliminate waste and pollution for future growth of busine

We know that home improvements may be not only inconvenient but also incredibly stressful and even painful depending on someone’s neurotype or previous trauma.

Unfortunately, some disruptions cannot be avoided for the works to be carried out, however in most cases we are able to implement accommodations which could make a huge difference to our neurodivergent clients.

Why do we do it?

Because it affects us too!

We work in a neurodiverse environment, this means that JMJ employs both, neurotypical and neurodivergent team members. As individuals we want to see similar accommodations offered to those who my need it in all aspects of life, therefore it was only logical for us that we start in our own back yard. Our experience indicates that people with invisible disabilities aren’t often offered accommodations they may need. Lack of awareness and understanding of neurological conditions and disorders leads to reduced level of offered compassion.

We strongly believe in the phrase by Dr Stephen Shore, "If you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person."

We adopted this as foundation in our approach to neurodivergent customer service relations.

We always want to treat our clients as Individuals with unique traits and difficulties, who experience their disability in different ways.

This is why we offer few ways of communication.

As our neurodivergent client you can use our form, arrange a phone call consultation dedicated to neurodivergent customers or choose to write to us.

How do we verify if someone is neurodivergent?

We don’t.

You won’t be asked to provide a diagnosis or any other form of proof that you are neurodivergent. Our only aim is to make your home improvement less stressful.
